Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra will release their new single "Kimi ni Sachiare" on CD on March 9!
Kimi ni Sachiare" is the theme song for the movie "Wedding High," which will be released in theaters nationwide on March 12, and is the first wedding song by Skaparada.
The movie "Wedding High" is a completely original story scripted by the genius of laughter, Bakarhythm, and features an all-star cast including Ryoko Shinohara in the lead role, as well as Rinya Nakamura, Nagisa Sekimizu, Takenori Iwata, Osamu Mukai, and Katsumi Takahashi.
Directed by Akiko Ookyu, an award-winning director of "Farewell" and "Watashi wo Furete Ro" and "Watashi wo Kutomete," who has garnered tremendous support from movie fans, the film is an ensemble comedy in which love, laughter, and an emotional wedding party unfolds with a superb cast and crew.
The song "Kimi ni Sachiare" was commissioned by the director and producers, who wanted to create a theme song full of happiness that would bless not only the bride and groom, but also all the people gathered at the wedding. The song was composed by NARGO (Trumpet), lyrics by Atsushi Taninaka (Baritone sax), and vocals by Kinichi Mogi (Drums).
Yanaka says, "All the members really enjoyed recording this song.
We are very happy that you have seen "Wedding High" and we are very happy that you like it. Taninaka commented, "We all had a lot of fun recording the song. The theme song, full of euphoria and festivity, vividly colors the movie "Wedding High".
The single CD will be released in three formats: CD + DVD, CD + Blu-ray, and CD ONLY. The CD contains the title track "Kimi ni Sachiare" and two coupling tracks for a total of three songs.
The M2 of the coupling, a new song "Kaiya wo Yell Out Toki" will be the "J SPORTS STADIUM2022 Baseball Live Theme Song" with the arrival of the baseball spring again this year! It will enliven the baseball world!
M3 includes "Wedding Ska? Wedding March", a ska-arranged cover of the classic wedding song "Wedding March (composed by Felix Mendelssohn)".
The cover photo is a scene from a movie that many of you have probably seen before: ......
