Since their striking recording debut in 1979,
“CASIOPEA”—a landmark in Japanese instrumental music—has continued to lead the fusion scene.
After several lineup changes, in May 2025, the fifth-generation, reborn “CASIOPEA” launched with a lineup centered on leader Issei Noro’s fluid and overwhelming
guitar work, featuring a rhythm section comprising the genius of the chopper bass, Yoshihiro Naruse, and drummer Yoshiyori Imai, who
powerfully drives the band with his virtuosic technique,and keyboardist Jun Abe, who adds color with his
refined keyboard work—the fifth-generation, reborn “CASIOPEA” was launched.
On August 27, 2025, they released their first album, “TRUE BLUE,” which was met with rave reviews.
Following that, the band embarked on a 2025 Winter Tour, a Spring 2026 Billboard Live Tour, and
a domestic Summer Tour. On September 12 and 13, 2026, their concerts in Los Angeles, USA(2 sold-out days)
were also a huge success; the electrifying nights had American fusion fans on their feet,
and the band was met with thunderous cheers and a standing ovation.Then, on December 2, 2026,
following their triumphant return from the U.S., they released their long-awaited second album, “SUNSHINE & MOONLIGHT.”
