The title track “Pipe Dream”—which also serves as the album’s title—is, like the previous album’s “BA-BY,” a song provided to various artists such as Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders, kZm,HIYADAM, among others; he also produces and performs as part of the duoThis track features delicate guitar tones layered with lyrics that reflect fluctuating emotions while exuding a steadfast strength, resulting in a finished piece that strikes a chord deep within the listener’s heart.
Additionally, “JUSHO,” the first B-side track on this release, “Pipe Dream,” was produced, mixed, and composed by Yohji Igarashi, with lyrics and music by Pecori.With its
upbeat tempo and deep, emotional sound, combined with multi-layered lyrics that seem to reflect the current state of ASP, the track conveys an even greater sense of depth.
The third track on the B-side, “Warp!!,” was produced by the rock band Age Factory, just like “Get New Mirai,” which was released as a digital single in May 2025.
Set to a sound that’s both fast-paced and tinged with a sense of melancholy, this catchy track features lyrics that, true to its title, make you feel like you’re flying away with “Warp!!.” JACKSON kaki handled the art direction for the
jacket.
The artwork is truly captivating, featuring a design where a face with a crazy expression—meticulously crafted using 3DCG—makes a particularly strong impact, set against a strange and surreal world.
The Blu-ray included in the first-press limited edition features live footage from the “Acid Suspicious Parental Tour at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA” held in August 2025—the group’s first and last live performance as an eight-member lineup—along with behind-the-scenes footage.
Furthermore, the package is packed with content,
including extremely rare documentary footage from their first overseas tour, the “ASP in the UK Tour,” as well as the music video and behind-the-scenes footage for “BA-BY.”The photo book is a deluxe box set containing 52 pages of images from the “Acid Suspicious Parental Tour at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA.”
