This is the Katsushika Trio's best overseas recording, completed with LA Strings!The minimalist trio formation of acoustic piano (Minoru Mukaiya), electric bass (Tetsuo Sakurai), and drums (Akira Jimbo) is the basis for this album, and the inclusion of string members from LA adds a new dimension to the Katsushika Trio's "organic" musical world. The album contains 8 songs that allow you to enjoy the "organic" musical world of the Katsushika Trio.
In addition to five new songs including "LUCA," which was distributed earlier, the album includes rearranged versions of three songs: "Red Express," "Majestic," and "Milky Way. Recorded and mixed by Grammy Award-winning master Don Murray, the album is a condensed version of the best of his playing, including the atmosphere and realism of the Los Angeles recording sessions. This is a truly "organic" album that captures the music in its natural state, without doing anything special.
The album was mastered by master musician Bernie Grundman, and the result is an album that is as sophisticated as a top-quality tailored suit, and can be said to be the best album in the history of the trio.
