Following their third album “OFF ROAD,” released on April 18, 2018, the band has completed their new original album “LOST+FOUND” (pronounced: Lost and Found)—their first in approximately 4 years and 3 months.
“LOST+FOUND” refers to a lost and found office.The members have poured all the emotions they currently feel—those they never want to lose, as well as the precious sentiments they are in danger of losing as they go through life—into the songs on this album.
It features six tracks: the two songs “We are the one / Zutto,” released in November 2019 and still highly popular today; the insert song “6 -Six-” from the drama *6 from HiGH&LOW; THE WORST,” the theme song for the drama “Don’t Cry, Intern,” “konomama,” and their latest single released last summer, “Summer Makeup / Updating Life”—totaling six tracks—along with six new songs, for a total of 12 tracks.
In addition to new works with songwriters they’ve collaborated with in the past, the album features tracks produced by a producer who contributed to Drake’s 2021 album for the first time, as well as songs created in collaboration with international musicians incorporating soca beats and ska. The group has energetically taken on a wide range of genres, and since the start of 2022, they have devoted their time exclusively to this album, focusing intently on songwriting.
The five members wrote the lyrics for every track with a clear message to convey in each song. Vocalist KAZUKI, who leads the songwriting process, has further honed his talent as a melody maker, and with each member’s role in the production process clearly defined, this is a heartfelt album in which they have poured their every ounce of energy. The limited-edition first-pressing version includes studio live performances and music videos, as well as a special program—the first of its kind featuring just the five members—in which they embark on a journey reflecting on the album’s production and their career to date while performing all 24 tracks from this release.
Presented with the best content in Dober’s history, “LOST+FOUND” showcases two distinct charms through its physical package and digital-only editions.
