numerous life experiences!

As a solo singer, this new song brings out a whole new side of him“BETWEEN SLEEP AND AWAKE”—a long-awaited release of this masterpiece, which was first performed at his
2023 birthday solo concert “Now What Can I See? ~Drunk Garden~” and generated such a massive response on social media that fans’ requests for a recorded version flooded the platform.
The song features an unimaginable collaboration with Jun Takayama (speedometer/), a genius of electronic music.
The B-side is a studio version of “HEAVENLY / ohana,” a song he has performed live for many years, recorded with his current live band.
Engineered by Shojiro Watanabe (who has worked with Gen Hoshino, Motoharu Sano, and many others), both tracks feature a beautiful, resonant string arrangement.

The album also includes a live version of CHEMISTRY’s solo track “She Knows Why?”, featuring a grand new arrangement.

For the remix of “HEAVENLY,” they enlisted Toshiya Mori (ex-ROCKING TIME), who previously gave CHEMISTRY’s “BACK TOGETHER AGAIN” a Lovers-style makeover.
With the addition of Takashi Yamamoto (ex-ROCKING TIME)—a guitarist who is extremely busy working with artists such as Noriyuki Makihara—the result is a track reminiscent of those classic remixes.
