For this track, ATSUSHI and AI not only sang but also wrote the lyrics themselves, creating a song that further enhances the story of the volunteer firefighters—the men who protect people’s lives—which serves as the main theme of the drama “HEAT.”
The B-side features a new acoustic arrangement of “So Special”—the song that first brought them together seven years ago and caused quite a stir!!

this project is about the volunteer fire department, I wrote a song centered on the theme of life.
Also, since Ai-chan, who performed with me, is carrying a new life inside her, I hoped this song would offer even a little hope to that unborn child, to children everywhere, to adults, and of course, to those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake.
