Their collaborative track, “Be Brave,” explores the theme of life.It is a grand and emotional song that celebrates the depth of the bonds between people and the courage to protect those we love.
For this track, ATSUSHI and AI not only sang but also wrote the lyrics themselves, creating a song that further enhances the story of the volunteer firefighters—the men who protect people’s lives—which serves as the main theme of the drama “HEAT.”
The B-side features a new acoustic arrangement of “So Special”—the song that first brought them together seven years ago and caused quite a stir!!

this project is about the volunteer fire department, I wrote a song centered on the theme of life.
And since Ai-chan, who performed with me, is carrying a new life inside her, I also hoped this song would bring even a little hope to that unborn child, to children everywhere, and of course to adults—as well as to those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake. [
