On EXILE’s album “STAR OF WISH,” released last year, he collaborated with world-renowned producer The Stereotypes—who worked on Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” and“24K Magic,” and created “STEP UP” during a writing session with The Stereotypes—the world-renowned producer who won a Grammy last year—EXILE SHOKICHI has evolved not only as an artist but also as a songwriter, and he is finally releasing his second solo album!
In addition to “Underdog,” the single released in 2018, and “Futen Boyz”—which was used as the opening theme song for the movie “DTC -Yukemuri Junjo-hen- from HiGH&LOW;,” as well as “White Night”—a track that tackles classic R&B, one of SHOKICHI’s musical roots, with a cutting-edge sound—and the two consecutive monthly digital singles“I Was Born to Meet You” and “Psychedelic Romance feat. SALU”—all part of a two-month consecutive digital single series. The video disc also includes music videos for each of these singles!
EXILE SHOKICHI, who is embarking on his first solo nationwide arena tour, wrote and composed every song on this album—a heartfelt “Record” that channels his thoughts on the 1,114 days that have passed and the future yet to come—and it is finally complete!
