This album is an ambitious work in which the three of them experimented many times with his ally UTA, with whom he has collaborated many times in his solo works and with EXILE THE SECOND, and KENJI03 (BACK-ON), with whom he is meeting for the first time. Distortion guitars run over a beat that mixes rock and trap. The refreshing Top Line and lyrics are interesting, mocking this frenetic orchestra. Unlike most cheerleaders' songs, this one calls itself an "underdog," and while rhyming over and over again, it refreshingly celebrates the aesthetics of the underdog.
This is a new frontier that SHOKICHI, who has been making music for one solo album and two albums with SECOND over the past two years, has arrived at.
A cover of "ROCKET DIVE" by Hide with Spread Beaver is included on the coupling track.
Rock is now hip-hop-ish, and hip-hop is now rock-ish. Twenty years after its release, SHOKICHI has reworked this song, which had a great influence on him, in his own way. Like "Underdog," it was produced with UTA and KENJI03. I have never heard "ROCKET DIVE" like this.
