The release of the live footage from “GENIC LIVE 2023 -Flavors- Special Edition,” held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on April 29, 2023, has been confirmed! Following the release of their
latest single “Flavor,” they toured 16 cities nationwide for a total of 32 shows starting in February 2023.“GENIC LIVE 2023 -Flavors- Special Edition” was held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo as a special additional performance as part of the “GENIC LIVE HOUSE TOUR 2023 -Flavors-.”
Although the group debuted in May 2020, most of their activities were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing them from performing as they had hoped. This one-night-only special event, held at the largest venue in GENIC’s history, allowed the seven members to deliver a full-power performance showcasing the “current” state of GENIC to their fans.
During the main set, they performed a total of 18 songs, including their debut track “SUN COMES UP” and “BURNIN’ BURNIN’,” which featured stage effects where flames shot up as the title suggests.At the very end of the encore, they performed “TOGETHER” from their first album “GENEX.” The approximately 110-minute recording captures every moment, including a scene where the members’ voices became hoarse with tears as fans—who had finally been able to hear the song—joined in singing along.
The bonus footage includes the making-of documentary “GENIC LIVE HOUSE TOUR 2023 -Flavors- Special Edition,” which closely follows GENIC starting 11 days prior to their performance on the LINE CUBE SHIBUYA stage.
This lavish bonus footage, running approximately 45 minutes, features the seven members rehearsing, their reactions upon seeing GENIC’s largest-ever stage set for the first time, and interviews!
