Despite being a complete unknown, singer-songwriter Nakamura Hak has been chosen to perform the theme songs for both the anime adaptation of the wildly popular manga *Atelier of the Pointed Hat*—which has sold over 7.5 million copies—and the highly anticipated terrestrial TV drama based on the series.Her debut EP, *White Is a Dream*, will not be available via digital distribution (including streaming services) and will be released exclusively as a limited-edition first-press CD.
All seven tracks on the album are completely unedited and unaltered. They were recorded in a single take using only her vocals and acoustic guitar (which she played herself).Because it is a genuine LIVE REC, it captures the taut atmosphere, the piercing sound of breathing, and the friction and tremors.
This is not a fixed, unchanging “sound source (recording),” but rather “music (memory)” that is reborn anew every time it is played (not a literal reproduction, but a true rebirth).
Included as a bonus for purchasers is a “free admission ticket to the Outstore LIVE.” Details are listed on the enclosed flyer (registration closes once capacity is reached; first-come, first-served).
