Novel Core’s house band, “THE WILL RABBITS” (pronounced: The Will Rabbits)—comprising four members: Hibiki Sato on drums, Yuya Kumagai on guitar, Yuki Uchimura on keyboards, and DJ KOTA—is set to release its first single, created in collaboration with Novel Core.This release was produced by Chaki Zulu, a producer who has consistently delivered works that blend diverse genres across a wide range of artists—from major labels to underground scenes, has produced this release. By leveraging the band’s signature acoustic sound, he has crafted three tracks that offer a glimpse into a new musical side of Novel Core.
The live album features the complete recording of “ONEMAN LIVE -Untitled- (January 21, 2023) at Toyosu PIT,” which generated significant buzz for its unprecedented format—a full-length free streaming available for one week starting the day after the show—is included in its entirety, along with a commentary track featuring members of Novel Core and THE WILL RABBITS discussing the performance.
Also included in this release is the documentary “ROAD TO BUDOKAN Episode.0,” which traces their journey leading up to the “ONEMAN LIVE -I AM THE- at Nippon Budokan” concert scheduled for January 17 of next year.Episode.0 features approximately 25 minutes of rare behind-the-scenes footage from the Toyosu PIT concert, where the Budokan show was first announced.
Furthermore, the documentary “Behind The Scenes of THE WILL RABBITS,” which traces the process from the recording of this album to the filming of the music videos, includes interviews with Novel Core and others discussing this release and the future of THE WILL RABBITS.
It also includes the music videos for “Jenga” and “SORRY, I’M A GENIUS” from Nov Core’s fully produced EP *iCoN*, released in January.
