The second installment of “commmons schola: Live on Television,” featuring performance scenes from the popular NHK E-Tele program “Schola: Ryuichi Sakamoto’s School of Music.”
“Schola: Ryuichi Sakamoto’s School of Music” is an educational program based on , a project that globally renowned musician Ryuichi Sakamoto has dedicated his life’s work to. To unravel the appeal of , one of humanity’s greatest cultural achievements, Sakamoto serves as the instructor, conveying the truth of music through a variety of styles.This second installment is scheduled to feature live footage from Season 3.

NHK E-Tele began airing Season 4 in January 2014.
The season is scheduled to introduce three themes—, , and <20th-Century Music>—with four episodes each.Once again, the program promises compelling content, featuring roundtable discussions between Sakamoto and guest lecturers, workshops conducted with the students, and a special live performance at the end of each episode based on the lecture content. Broadcast Time: Every Thursday from 11:25 PM to 11:55 PM
