This is Ayaka's seventh original album, a year and four months after her last album.I hope that the stories in this album will be something that someone who picks it up will be able to relate to and enjoy while becoming emotionally involved as a character in the story...
The name "Funtale" comes from the idea that "Fun = Fun Tale" and "Funtale = Story".
The lyrics were written in New Zealand and arranged by Kei Kono, UTA, Kan Sano, Shin Sakiura, and others, creating an ambitious work with a variety of sounds.
The album includes 11 songs in total, including the quintessential ballad and "Mirai e", the commercial song for NTT Docomo's "Docomo Mirai Museum", which became a hot topic when Kana Kurashina appeared in the music video.
