Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has announced the CD release of their new single, “Kimi ni Sachiare,” on March 9!
“Kimi ni Sachiare” is the theme song for the movie *Wedding High*, which opens nationwide on March 12, and marks Ska Paradise Orchestra’s first-ever wedding song.

The film “Wedding High” features a completely original screenplay by comedy genius Bakarhythm and boasts an all-star cast led by lead actress Ryoko Shinohara, alongside Tomoya Nakamura, Nagisa Sekimizu, Takanori Iwata, Osamu Mukai, and Katsumi Takahashi.
Directed by Akiko Daiku—who has won numerous awards for *Shake It Up!* and *Stop Me!* and enjoys immense support from movie fans—this ensemble comedy film, brought to life by a star-studded cast and crew, unfolds as a wedding party filled with love, laughter, and emotion.

“Kimi ni Sachiare” was commissioned by the director and producers from Skapara with the request to create a theme song brimming with happiness that would celebrate not only the bride and groom but everyone gathered at the wedding. The music was composed by NARGO (trumpet),lyrics by Atsushi Yanaka (baritone sax), and vocals by Kinichi Mogi (drums).

Yanaka commented, “All of us in the band truly enjoyed the recording process.
We’re filled with the desire to wish ‘Kimi ni Sachiare’ to everyone who watches *Wedding High*.” This theme song, brimming with joy and a festive spirit, vividly enhances the film *Wedding High*.

The single CD will be released in three formats: [CD+DVD Edition], [CD+Blu-ray Edition], and [CD-Only Edition]. The CD includes a total of three tracks: the title track “Kimi ni Sachiare” and two B-sides.
Track 2, a new song titled “When We Shout ‘Hurrah!’,” has been selected as the “J SPORTS STADIUM 2022 Baseball Broadcast Theme Song” to coincide with the arrival of baseball season this year! It’s sure to energize the baseball world!
Track 3 features “Wedding Ska? Wedding March,” a ska-style cover of the classic wedding song “Wedding March” (composed by Felix Mendelssohn).

The DVD and Blu-ray include the music video for “Kimi ni Sachiare,” as well as footage from the October 22 performance at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) during the nationwide tour “TOKYO SKA Treasure Hunt,” which took place from September to December of last year.
The release is scheduled to include nine carefully selected tracks, including “S.O.S. [Share One Sorrow],” which was performed live for the first time with special guests Tokyo Tanaka and Jean-Ken Johnny from MAN WITH A MISSION, who were the opening act that day.

The cover art features a design inspired by a scene from a movie that many of you have likely seen before—a wedding car with numerous empty cans tied to the back, as the bride and groom, showered with well-wishes, drive off stylishly while the “clink-clink♪” of happiness rings out.
