Yoshihiro Kai has announced the release of his long-awaited original full-length album—his first in about 15 years.
This album is a collection of self-covers of songs he has previously written for other artists; it serves as a “best of” compilation of his self-covers and is a new album featuring the ultimate selection of tracks, supervised and produced by Kai himself.
Fifteen years after the release of the self-cover collection *Homecoming*—which was originally released in 2011 exclusively to fan club members and through Kai’s office—this album, titled *Homecoming: Complete Edition*, features a newly curated selection of 16 gem-like tracks (14 on the first-press edition) carefully chosen from his past self-cover recordings. For this album,“Heart to Rock” (originally written for Seiko Matsuda) has been included with a new mix.
Furthermore, this release is timed to coincide with Yoshihiro Kai’s solo tour, “Homecoming Tour 2026,” which begins in October.
