Skapala will release two video titles simultaneously: "35th Anniversary Live "Skapala Koshien," a special live held on November 5 (Wed.) to commemorate the 35th anniversary of their debut, and "35th Anniversary Finale "DOWN BEAT ARENA PARTll", which was held to mark the end of the 35th anniversary of their debut!Both of these memorial performances were so popular that the tickets were sold out immediately, and the video works are long-awaited by fans who were unable to attend the event.
The "35th Anniversary Live 'SKAPARA Koshien'" will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Hyogo, and will be SKAPARA's first stadium live performance. This is a one-night-only special live concert.
The performance was joined by a stellar lineup of guests including Tamio Okuda, Shinya Ishihara (Saucy Dog), SUPER EIGHT, Masaki Sugata, TAKUMA (10-FEET), aiko, Kazutoshi Sakurai (Mr. Children), Murotsuyoshi, and Sakana-kun, adding to Skapara's major milestone and attracting 40,000 people to the legendary stage. The stage was a legendary stage that attracted an audience of 40,000.
The video of this performance is already included in the best album "NO BORDER HITS 2025→2001 ～Best of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra～" to be released on March 19, 2025 (Wednesday), but this time it will be sold independently, making it more accessible. 35th Anniversary Finale "DOWN BEAT ARENA PARTII" is a video work that includes a one-man live performance held on March 20, 2025 (Thursday) at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa. This performance, which was prepared to grandly decorate the finale of the 35th anniversary year of their debut, was positioned as "part two over 23 years" of the "DOWN BEAT ARENA" with guests Takao Tajima, Yusuke Ciba, and Tamio Okuda. This performance was held as "Part 2 over 23 years". The show featured an outstanding lineup of guests, including Takao Tajima, Rira Ikuta, Shinya Ishihara (Saucy Dog), Haruko Nagaya (Green & Yellow Society), and Koji Miyamoto, and featured an impressive set list that allowed the audience to experience a frenetic performance that could be considered the quintessential Skapala show.
