MONDO GROSSO releases "Attune / Detune," the sequel album to 2017's hit album "Born New Again and Again," on Wednesday, March 21!In 2017, Shinichi Osawa's solo project "MONDO GROSSO" restarted after 14 years.
The album includes one more new song, "False Sympathy" featuring BiSH's Aina the End on vocals, as well as an insert song for the currently airing TBS Tuesday drama "Kimi ga Kokoro ni Umiteitaita", which is also the first starring role for Riho Yoshioka, the most popular actress in Japan at the moment.
The sound sources of "TURN IT UP" by Ohashi Trio and "KEMURI" by ACO, which were limited tracks on Spotify and AWA respectively on the previous album, will also be included on CD for the first time, as well as a new set of songs reconstructed from the previous album "Nandemo Dou Dake Ni Shinjo Umareru". The album will also include the first CD recording of "KEMURI" sung by ACO.
The title of the album is "Attune / Detune," Attune meaning "to tune in" and Detune meaning "to subtly (shift) the sound" in the creation of electronic music.
The work offers a rich taste of the musical world of MONDO GROSSO, which will repeat Attune and Detune again in 2018, in both sound and visual form.
