Footage from the live concert held at Nakano Sunplaza on April 30, 2019—the finale of the 【SKY-HI TOUR 2019 -The JAPRISON-】—is finally available on video!!The setlist for this concert featured a total of 37 songs,
blending new and classic hits centered around tracks from the album “JAPRISON” and the mixtape “FREE TOKYO.” The concert was divided into two parts; Part 1 had a prison theme,combining SKY-HI’s exceptional skills as a performer with the SUPER FLYERS’ overwhelming musical prowess, along with dramatic stage production created by lighting and visuals—resulting in what could be called the ultimate hip-hop opera that expresses the world of the album “JAPRISON” without any MC segments.
Part 2 featured “Sentence,” a staple of the tour, and “Count Down SKY-HI,” a segment where he performed 10 of his signature songs back-to-back. This highly entertaining segment, built in collaboration with the audience, allowed fans to fully experience the charm of SKY-HI.
As bonus footage, the release includes “Behind The Scenes of SKY-HI TOUR 2019 -The JAPRISON-,” and the audio commentary track features live commentary by SKY-HI and SUPER FLYERS bandmaster Tak Tanaka.
