EXILE ATSUSHI's first solo dome tour "EXILE ATSUSHI LIVE TOUR 2016 "IT'S SHOW TIME!"" started on Saturday, May 28. Beautiful Gorgeous Love", which will be the theme song of the tour.And "First Liners", the debut song of ATSUSHI's new band project RED DIAMOND DOGS, which was announced as a surprise at the Kyocera Dome Osaka performance on the first day of his solo dome tour.
A double A-side single containing these two songs will be released on July 6 (Wed.)!
ATSUSHI himself says, "It's been 15 years since I debuted as an artist, and I can feel that I've finally made it this far," as he describes his solo dome tour as a milestone.
ATSUSHI has always delivered entertainment on a large scale as the vocalist of EXILE, but as a solo performer on the dome stage, he is conscious of "delivering songs focusing on the musical aspect rather than the visual one, since the dome is such a large place.
On this tour, in addition to the band members who have worked together to create the stage in the past, an orchestra, wind instruments, and chorus members have been invited to join the band for a total of nearly 40 members to perform live on stage, so we can't wait to hear how ATSUSHI's singing voice and the live sound played by the big band will create a harmony. The newly announced release of "Beautiful Gorgeous Love" is a swing-jazz-influenced number that took one year from conception to completion as the song that symbolizes this tour.
As on the tour, a big band of over 40 members participated in the recording, and the result is as beautiful and gorgeous as its name suggests, with grooving rhythms, bewitching strings and brass ensembles, and sexy vocals all in one experience!
ATSUSHI himself has expressed his thoughts on the song in this way.
ATSUSHI himself says of his thoughts behind the song, "I have written many songs in the past, including songs that convey important messages, songs about love, and songs that get people excited, but I thought it would be nice to have a song that just sings about courtship, and I tried to make it a single piece of work, weaving comfortable words into the melody and performance, without making it particularly heavy. Most of the instruments are played live, so I think I was able to express the realism of a live performance through the soundtrack. It will include a cover of Miyuki Nakajima's classic song "Ito," which is currently airing as a commercial song for Toyota Home. Produced by Satoshi Takebe, the song was created with a focus on live sound, and is a cover song that is uniquely ATSUSHI with respect for the original song!
In addition, "First Liners" and "Future Break Out" by the new band project RED DIAMOND DOGS, which was announced as a surprise on the first day of their solo dome tour, will be included in this single!
This album will be a double A-side single of "Beautiful Gorgeous Love" under the name of EXILE ATSUSHI and RED DIAMOND DOGS "First Liners".
ATSUSHI (Vo.), PHEKOO (Key.), DURAN (Gt.), and FUYU (Dr.) are the four members of RED DIAMOND DOGS, who were connected from New York. I have been inspired by many musicians for 15 years, and I have been able to get to know talented friends through EXILE and my solo activities, and I really respect them. I will express the music which I could not express in my activities as EXILE or as a solo artist. We can't take our eyes off her future activities!
The luxury disc will also include EXILE ATSUSHI Premium Live, which aired on TBS in January this year and attracted a lot of attention! The style of this show was born out of ATSUSHI's desire for the audience to enjoy his songs in a more relaxed state, different from the usual tense atmosphere of a live performance.
