The CD and DVD of the Kitaro & Hiroki Okano commemorative concert “Kukai,” held at Zentsuji Temple in 2023 to mark the 1250th anniversary of Kobo Daishi’s birth, are finally available!
Kitaro, who has captivated the world with his Silk Road-themed music, and Hiroki Okano, who has performed at ceremonies around the globe for over 30 years. This release captures everything from the masterful performances of these two internationally renowned musicians to their improvisational duet with world-renowned calligrapher and painter Fuyo Kobayashi’s powerful calligraphy.
This historic concert took place at Zentsū-ji, the head temple and birthplace of Kūkai.
