ASP, a seven-member group under WACK, held a solo concert on August 27, 2022, at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall—the largest venue in the group’s history—and made their major-label debut on August 31 via avex trax.With theirpunk-infused music and visuals, they garnered attention from various quarters even during their indie days, and with their
major-label debut single “Hyper Cracker,” they introduced a track that embraced hyperpop, bringing a breath of fresh air to the scene.
On their follow-up digital single, “I won’t let you go,” they sang about emotional states with a sophisticated, mature sound, showcasing yet another new side of ASP.
Their first major-label EP is scheduled to include a total of five tracks.
