Their third digital single, “Tsutsumikomu You ni...,” released on January 14 of this year, is a cover of a well-known classic from the ’90s. The track has been rebuilt with modern sound production while paying homage to the original,and iScream—currently high school students—overlay their hybrid vocal style onto that groove, fully showcasing their charm as vocalists. The song became a hot topic across media, particularly on the radio, and achieved the remarkable feat of reaching number one on the Billboard Radio Charts.The music video released on YouTube surpassed 1 million views within a week of its release.
Then, on April 20, they released their long-awaited debut album, “i.”The lead single from the album, “Jasmine,” also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Radio Chart, marking their second consecutive No. 1 hit, and the album itself peaked at No. 8 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
This new single is iScream’s first upbeat dance track.
