——An Album for the Future, Woven from the Journey and Bonds Forged Over 11 Years—— This is May J.’s eighth original album, released three years after her previous album, *Imperfection*, following her 10th anniversary since her debutin 2016.She wrote and composed all the songs on the singles released
over the past three years, as well as her first track recorded overseas in Los Angeles.
Through discussions with world-renowned U.S. musicians, she reexamined the messages she wanted to convey now and the form her music should take, ultimately expressing herself by reflecting deeply on her own identity.
The album features “10,000 Days of Mother and Daughter ~Door to the Future~,” a duet with Aki Yashiro for which Angela Aki wrote the lyrics and music and served as producer for the first time,
as well as “Have Dreams!,” which generated buzz through her collaboration with Tetsuya Komuro and Tsunku♂,, and “Sparkle—Believe in the Sparkle—,” released worldwide through her renewed collaboration with Disney. The album features 16 tracks in total—pushing the CD’s time limit to 72 minutes—including these standout tracks and tie-in songs.
Following her massive breakthrough with “Let It Go ~Just the Way You Are~ (End Song),” this album captures May J.’s “present moment”—her growth
as a singer and artist—weaving together the journey of her 11th year in the industry and the bonds that have shaped her.
