Since their impressive record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands.
Their sound, which literally embodies their catchphrase from their debut, "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique," is the result of Issei Noro's unparalleled compositional abilities. The sound literally embodies their catchphrase at the time of their debut: "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique." The band has established a completely new musical style that was unthinkable before, easily combining familiar melodies and superb technical play through Issei Noro's exceptional compositional abilities, and has released many great songs, including "ASAYAKE" and "DOMINO LINE.
The first period from its formation in 1977 to 1989, the second period from 1990 to 2006, and the third period from 2006 to 2007. After a 6-year hiatus, the band changed its name to CASIOPEA 3rd in 2012, the 35th anniversary of the band's formation, and restarted its 3rd period.
