debut catchphrase “Thrill, Speed, Super Technique,” established a completely new musical style that had been unthinkable until then—effortlessly blending accessible melodies born of Issei Noro’s exceptional compositional talent with virtuosic technical playing—andThey have released numerous classic songs, such as “ASAYAKE” and “DOMINO LINE.” Their first phase, from their formation in 1977 through 1989,
the second phase from 1990 to 2006, and the third phase—which began in 2012, the band’s 35th anniversary, after a six-year hiatus, when they relaunched under the name CASIOPEA 3rd—the band has continued to maintain its reputation despite changes in its lineup.From 2022 to 2024, the drumming duties were passed from Akira Jimbo to Yoshiyori Imai, marking the band’s fourth phase as CASIOPEA-P4.
