Following in the footsteps of BiSH, EMPiRE, and Mameshiba no Daigun, ASP is set to make their major-label debut through Avex!
Their first major-label release, this single, will be available in four editions: a limited-edition first-press version (single + Blu-ray + photo book), and the A, S, and P editions (each containing only the single).
The title track, “Hyper Cracker,” was produced and mixed by Yohji Igarashi—a producer and DJ known for his work with numerous artists such as HIYADAM and Daoko—with lyrics and composition by Pecori of ODD Foot Works.
This track follows the “Hyperpop” genre, which has been gaining momentum and attracting attention in recent years, and features a lively guitar sound and effects-driven progression that create a track sure to get you moving.
The lyrics recount summer memories, conveying a sense of melancholy and wistfulness as the season comes to an end. The song title
also evokes images of fireworks.
A brand-new track unlike anything ASP has released before has been born!
“Why don’t you KiLL me??” was composed by Kenta Matsukuma, with lyrics by Ryuguji. “A Song of Punk 2022” is a re-recorded version of a previously released track, performed by the current members.

■Profile
: The group consists of seven members: Yumeka Naukana?, Na-mae Na-i, Mog Ryan, Matilda Twins, Wanker Twins, Chichichichi-chi, and Lion Town.
They made their debut fully masked on the final day of the “WACK Joint Audition 2021,” a residential audition held in March 2021.
They released their first album, “ANAL SEX PENiS,” in May 2021, followed by a series of tours including “ASP’s on FIRE TOUR” and “TOUR STARFUCKERS,” and released their first single, “the MAN CALLiNG,” in September.
Starting in October, they embarked on a headlining tour titled “MARCH of ROGUES,” and at the tour finale at LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo, it was announced that the Matilda Twins and the Wanker Twins would be joining the group.
In January 2022, they released their second album, “PLACEBO,” and in February, they held “ANTi SOCiAL PAiNS,” their first headlining show at a Zepp venue.
In April, they released their second single, “BOLLOCKS.”
Starting in May, for the “ACOUSTiC SAD ORCHESTRA TOUR”—ASP’s largest-scale tour to date—the group expanded to a seven-member lineup with the addition of new members Chichichichi-Chi and Rion Town, who passed the “WACK Joint Audition 2022.”
