He has been chosen to perform the world-renowned artist Bruno Mars’ hit song “Just The Way You Are”—which won six awards, including three major categories, at the 60th Grammy Awards held on Sunday, January 28—with Japanese lyrics for the very first time anywhere in the world!
ATSUSHI has long held Bruno Mars in high regard, calling him “one of the artists with the best musical sense and talent in the world.” While spending his days in the studio, the Japanese lyrics for the chorus of “Just The Way You Are” came to him, and he wrote the entire Japanese version in one go.
After playing the Japanese cover for Bruno himself, a connection formed between the two, making the release of this track a reality.
The B-side features “More…,” co-written with his longtime ally Nathan Morris of Boyz II Men, as well as three other tracks with all-English lyrics produced overseas.
This ultra-deluxe maxi-single, which can be considered the culmination of EXILE ATSUSHI’s overseas studies, is now complete!
