series that brings “MOTHER” and “STYLE”—two of the greatest albums in Japanese rock history—back to life for the modern era, with two-day stops in five cities nationwide.
It has now been announced that *MOTHER* and *STYLE* will be re-released on November 29 as a self-cover album featuring full re-recordings of every track.
Released in 1994, *MOTHER* features hits like “ROSIER” and “TRUE BLUE,” while
*STYLE*, released in 1996, includes numerous smash hits such as “DESIRE” and “IN SILENCE.”
These are truly two masterpieces created during the late 1990s, a period when LUNA SEA rapidly rose to an unshakable position in the Japanese rock scene
. And for this self-cover project, following their previous album *CROSS*,
they have once again enlisted six-time Grammy Award-winning global music producer Steve Lillywhite as the mixing engineer!!
As these two legendary albums are revived in the Reiwa era, spanning nearly 30 years, anticipation continues to grow for the new sounds they will embody in their rebirth!!
