ELT’s latest single, released to mark their 20th anniversary, is the theme song for the Fuji TV series “Lion’s High-Five.”It’s an anthem of encouragement for children who are giving their all.“Lion’s Good Touch” is a “support documentary variety show” in which famous athletes and celebrities—who are “experts in their fields”—visit children who are working hard but struggling to see results, providing them with comprehensive support and watching over their growth.
In the past, renowned athletes such as former Yomiuri Giants player Toshihisa Nishi, Athens Olympics bronze medalist Kyoko Hamaguchi, and former Japanese women’s national volleyball team member Miyuki Takahashi have participated as “Good Touch Supporters.”
For this installment, Kaori Mochida wrote the lyrics for a song specifically to cheer on these hardworking children, inspired by their determined efforts and in response to the show’s request for “a song that will give the children courage!”
