"CASIOPEA" Debut 45th anniversary. 4th term of CASIOPEA CASIOPEA-P4 "RIGHT NOW~Winter Kiyomi" in December 2024, following the graduation of Kiyomi Ohtaka, keyboardist with CASIOPEA for 12 years. This is a valuable video work that includes the "RIGHT NOW~Winter/Kiyomi FINAL".Since their impressive record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands.
Their sound, which literally embodies their catchphrase at the time of their debut, "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique," is a completely new type of music that was unthinkable before, easily combining the familiar melodies of Issei Noro's exceptional compositional abilities with superb technical playing. After a six-year hiatus, in 2012, the 35th anniversary of the band's formation, the name was changed to CASIOPEA 3rd and the band was re-launched as CASIOPEA 3rd. The band has continued to maintain its reputation as a band despite member changes. This year, 10 years after the start of the third phase, the baton was passed from Akira Jimbo (special support) to Yoshiyori Imai on drums, the first official member in 25 years.
