it seems we’ll soon be able to hear the next chapter of the story.
While the underlying theme of “Piano Utahime” was a blue sky, the newly released “Piano Utahime II” was created with the image of a starry night sky in mind.
It’s fair to say that the depth and vitality of the sound have increased even further. Although the album features a
relatively large number of ballads, it also includes up-tempo tracks, resulting in a well-balanced and enjoyable selection.
Additionally, as a first-time experiment, the instruments and recording environments were changed for each track.
Using a truly luxurious recording method—in which she personally selected the combinations that best brought out both the character of each song and the unique qualities of the Steinway grand piano—the album has finally been completed.
These are emotional sounds brought to life by Yu Matsuo.
