The “Playing the Piano - North America Tour 2010” took place from October 17 to November 5, 2010. A total of approximately 220,000 people (with a peak of about 11,000 concurrent viewers) watched the four live broadcasts via USTREAM.On January 9, 2011, “Playing the Piano from Seoul 20110109” took place in Seoul, South Korea—the artist’s first performance there in about 10 years. The event was screened at over 440 venues for public viewings, with more than 200,000 people participating in total.
He performed numerous classic songs, including “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence,” “The Sheltering Sky,” “Hibari,” “Composition 0919,” “Bibo no Aozora,” “Tibetan Dance,” and “Thousand Knives.” This CD features the best takes selected by fans from among the songs
performed during these concerts.The collection features piano arrangements of songs that are popular among
