商品説明

On December 12 of last year, Ryuichi Sakamoto held an online solo piano concert without an audience titled “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Playing the Piano 12122020.” With
live production by Rhizomatiks and cinematography by Zakkubalan, the concert was simultaneously streamed worldwide from a studio in Tokyo.Since
this was a one-night-only stream with no archive available, it became a rare performance that could never be viewed again.
It has now been decided that the audio recording will finally be released on the exact same date one year later: December 12, 2021. This past August, “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence – version 2020,” taken from this live recording, was used as the theme song for TBS TV’s “76 Years Since the End of the War Project: Connecting, Being Connected” campaign.
Additionally, “MUJI2020”—the theme song for the MUJI commercial, which was previously available only on the “2020S” box set released at the end of March this year—was performed toward the end of the concert and is included in this recording.
This setlist, which could be described as a best-of selection from Ryuichi Sakamoto, features the latest live recording.
