This 17th album is their first full-lengthoriginal album centered on the theme of “rock” since 2013’s *plugged*. Reinterpreted after more than a decade, this album presents
a more solid rock sound centered around
electric guitar and piano. Despite arrangements stripped of all excess, the result is a stylish and beautiful band sound
brimming with depth and richness. Various elements—including bossa nova and funk—are exquisitely woven
into the rock, creating an album that distills the distinctive
flavor of the Ohashi Trio.It features a total of nine tracks, including “Metro Underwater,”
which was released digitally in advance in December; “Standard feat. Hina (Super Tozanbu),” featuring
Hina, the vocalist of the up-and-coming band Super Tozanbu; and
Ohashi Trio’s signature song“HONEY (2026),” which was re-recorded after more than 15 years. This album embodies both a return to their roots
and their continued evolution.
The video edition includes live footage from “ohashiTrio & THE PRETAPORTERS 2025 ~new year party~,
” held at NHK Hall in January 2025.
The first-press limited edition comes with an “A BAND” original T-shirt.
