Since the summer of 2016, EXILE has been focusing on solo and individual group activities. Now, they’re bringing together and unleashing the experience, knowledge, and energy they’ve cultivated through their respective endeavors.Starting in February 2018, they embarked on a whirlwind six-month streak of new song releases, and riding that momentum, they will release an album on Wednesday, July 25, before launching into a dome tour this fall!
In addition to the six songs from “EXILE FRIDAY”—a series of new tracks released digitally on the first Friday of every month since February—the album features “Heads or Tails,” the much-talked-about theme song for Nissin’s “Cup Noodles” commercial that has been airing since April, newly recorded tracks for the album, and even the smash hit “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu,” released after their previous album“19 -Road to AMAZING WORLD-,” the massive hit “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu,” the Rio Olympics broadcast theme song “Joy-ride ~Drive of Joy~,” and “24karats GOLD SOUL”—the very soul of EXILE—for a total of 14 tracks.The DVD/Blu-ray includes music videos for all 14 tracks featured on the CD.
In addition to music videos and lyric videos, the deluxe edition features special footage that fans have been eagerly awaiting.Plus! It includes the latest installment of Koichi Makino’s “EXILE PRIDE,” filmed over more than three years starting in 2015—the year Toshio Matsumoto, USA, and MAKIDAI retired! This ultra-long documentary film, running approximately four hours, fully captures EXILE’s ongoing transformation and evolution since the trio’s retirement!
The first-press edition of the Deluxe Edition includes a 76-page special photo book!
