He debuted in 2014 as KAZUKI of DOBERMAN INFINITY and finally launched his solo career this year. As the group’s
sole vocalist, he sang the choruses on many of their songs. With a deep love for
music, he served as the group’s core member—the only one capable of completing an entire song on his own, from producing the track to writing the lyrics and composing the music.
After completing an arena tour in 2019, he announced a tour of all 47 prefectures, but just as his career was taking off in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the world, forcing him to halt his activities.
Wondering what she could do to stay active, she began filming “cover song” videos at home, uploading them to YouTube, and sharing previously unreleased solo tracks—which had previously been reserved exclusively for live performances—on social media. While there had always been a strong demand for her solo work even during her group activities, anticipation for her solo career skyrocketed during this period.
However, I didn’t pursue solo activities at that exact moment. Instead, I continued to focus on music production while participating in remote group meetings, and in July of last year, I completed the 24-track album “LOST＋FOUND,” which was released with the largest volume and most substantial content to date.Promoting
that album through a nationwide tour—which focused primarily on new songs rather than relying on their past work—we could strongly sense the group’s maturity and the unwavering confidence each member had gained.
That is precisely why he decided to launch his solo career—both for the group as it aims for the next stage and for himself. In addition to the two songs “WOW” and “ONE DAY,” which he has
already performed live, the album features numerous new tracks.
“WOW” and “ONE DAY” were rearranged and re-recorded specifically for this release so that Kazuki Hayashi could present them as his current self.
Having written and composed every track himself, this debut album is packed with everything that makes up Kazuki Hayashi as a person. It is not merely a casual “business card” of a release, but a rich and profound work that embodies his very DNA.
With this album, yet another wonderful artist is born.
